I don't what is wrong, but my beautiful Tucker is suddenly losing big sections of his fur!!! The only thing I can think of that has been different, is I recently applied that new Revolution combo flea, tick, earmite, worm treatment to him!!!???? I am calling my vet tomorrow a.m. to see if that is it!!!! My poor baby is going bald!:(

Kim,
Sounds like SOME kind of allergy. But if it was Revolution you used, I would THINK the hair loss would be in the area where the stuff was applied. Good luck at the vet. Keep us posted.
BTW, Tucker could be Eli's twin!!!

Kelcee lost her hair from flea treatment too, but only where I applied it, behind her neck. I stopped using it after that.
The vet may do blood work and that should tell you what's going on in his system, if anything. They can also do allergy test. This is the first time this has ever happend to him? Poor boy. Good luck. I'm sure they can fix him right back to his hairy little self in no time:)

Kim, that is awful! I wonder if it is the medication...and just because it didn't fall out at the spot of application, doesn't mean it isn't...since it travels though the glands....keep us posted! Don't let Tucker get a sun burn!!!!!

I didn't even think about the sunburn thing!!!! Oh thanks so much for mentioning that! He doesn't stay in the yard very long, but the sun has been very strong the past 2 days!

On no! Tucker has such beautiful long fur that it's so sad to see it falling out! I sure hope its just a reaction to the medication and not anything worse. Sounds like that could be it to me - especially if he's still eating and acting normal in every other way.
Poor Tucker, and poor mommy. Please let us know how the vet visit goes.
Oh, and by the way Kim, I LOVE your new signature pic. It's so great to see all of your kitties in one place so we can keep the who's who straight when you talk about them. :D

Poor, sweet Tucker! It does sound like some sort of a reaction. Did you give him a bath? I don't know if that would help?
