I was in PetSmart today with Moo and noticed a spot over his right (the blind one) eye. He has been scratching there alot and it made me wonder if it's ringworm or not. He's got this problem with dry skin and little bumps over his eyes, as well as dry, red skin on his back legs. I've put it off figuring it would go away if I just put moisturizer on it, but it's not. So just to be on the safe side, I'm making an appt with the vet. I doubt very much that he has ringworm because it doesn't have the typical round raised mark that ringworm is known for. We'll see. There goes another $100. All in the name of being owned by cats. :D

Moo, baby.
You tell those white coats what your problem is, right away, and save your Mama some $. (so she can spend it on you!)

Oh, Donna, I hope it is nothing serious. Please, Moo, be a good little boy at the whitecoats, and don't let your mommy worry needlessly.
Keep us informed, Donna.

I kinda doubt it's anything serious. But being a Sphynx, he's BOUND to have some kind of skin problem now and then. My guess would be psoriasis because of the dryness over his eyes and him scratching it. We'll see. Maybe I should get him some sunblock and shades (His life is so bright he's gotta wear shades!!)

Like everyone else, just wanted to say good luck at the vets, and hopefully it's just something that a little salve will make go away.
Can't have our suede hot water bottle under the weather now, can we? ;) :D

I had to cancel the appointment because of $$. I figured since it wasn't life threatening or anything it could wait a week or 2. I'm a bad mommy, I know. But I have been putting Vitamin E on it and it seems better. At least he's not scratching it. I know it's not ringworm because I borrowed a black light from the shelter and it doesn't glow. Sorry I forgot update you. I completely forgot about it.

Vitamin E is great for all kinds of skin problems. So glad it seems to be helping. You are not a bad Mommy - I probably would have made the same decision if I were you. Please give Moo my kisses and scrunchies....
