Oh, Logan, what a beauty Sarah is!!!! She reminds me of my fluffball angel, Avalanche!! She was a tall one, too! Ohhhhhh, if I were transporting, I don't think I would be able to let her go!!! I am so glad she is going to a great forever home. Pyrs are a unique and wonderful breed. They own you, you don't own them. Thank you, Logan, for transporting this gorgeous girl to her new home. I wish her a long and happy life in her new forever home!! Woohoo!!!!!
Sarah will love all the "older dogs" to guard and take care of. Pyrs love their "flock". Sounds like Pyr Heaven for Sarah!!!!

I knew you would enjoy seeing her, Sue! In fact, I knew everyone would! I just can't wait to meet her myself. I heard from the foster mom, who will be driving her from MS to SC to meet me, just this morning, and she warned me that I will fall in love immediately! I already have and I haven't even met her yet! Doesn't her new home sound wonderful?? I'm just so happy for her!!! :)

There is something about Great Pyrs that just makes you want to hug them!! Their fur is sooooo soft (unlike most dog's hair). What a perfect home she is going to. I am so excited for her!!

Good morning, Sue, and everyone. Sue, I just had to tell you (in a quick minute before getting ready to rush to church), that Sarah was a marvelous companion for our short hour together! I can certainly understand your love for this breed. She reminded me in many ways, of a St. Bernard, as she had those droopy eyes and a constant stream of drool! She still looks sort of rough, and I can't imagine how she looked before getting into foster care six months ago, but what a love!! :) It surely was tempting to just bring her right on back to Greenville with me! :) I tried to get pictures on Scott's digital camera. We'll see how I did when he gets home to download them for me. :o If any are worth sharing, I certainly will do it!!
Have a great Sunday, everyone. Mine has certainly started out pleasantly!! :)

Talk about the drool!!!! I used to have a dribble rag handy for Avalanche. Some Pyrs drool more than others. Sometimes you had to dodge flying drool, if she shook her head. LOL Memories!!!! Slobber everywhere.
They are soooo loving. I can't wait for the pics!!!! :)
