Mosquitos

I'm worried now. My mom just noticed a mosquio flying around inside. She lost it for awhile and then saw it flying around Mickey. Mick's asleep so he doesn't notice anything. Should I be concerned? The darn thing keep circling my baby! My mom thnk she might have bitten him :mad: Stupid West Nile is spreading too :( Are mosquito bites bad for dogs? Help :confused:

Uh oh! Mosquitos are the worst! I hope that your dog's okay! Does your dog have any flea, tick, or mosquito protection pills or shots? If not, maybe you should look into getting them. They aren't too expensive, and they're definately worth it if it means protecting your pet from a potentially deadly disease.

My dogs go camping with us all the time, and probably get bit just about as much as I do. They've never had any sort of a reaction to them....no itching or anything like that (unlike me!) Is Mickey on heartworm preventative? As far as the west nile, I don't really know anything about that...so keep an eye on him!

Yes, Mickey is on heartworm medication.

Thanks for answering. I was a bit paniky but I don't know what happened to the darn thing. Mickey doesn't seem to be bothered (like getting itches) so I think he's alright. Thanks :)
