Update on Diabetic Cat!

Thank you guys so much for the advice that you given to me about the diabetic cat! Unfortunately, my friend ended up not taking him home. She is moving soon and knew that it would be too much to handle. She did however, find someone willing to take him, and right now, he is in his new home, where he is the only cat! His owner has diabetes and her heart really went out to him when she heard the story, and went and adopted him immediately! So a happy ending to Mr. Diabetic Kitty!! :) Yay!!

Wonderful news! Diabetes presents itself in cats just as it does in people (right down to proper blood sugar levels), so this cat's new owner should find few surprises in dealing with the disease.

That's so neat! A human diabetic is going to be much more alert to caring for a diabetic cat. I wonder if a human Accucheck works on cats?
