My husband's boss has to have his dog put down, today or tomorrow. Harry is 20 years old, and has lived a fabulous life on their farm. He's a mutt, no one's even sure what he's mixed with, and has stomach tumors that are progressing rapidly:(
God bless you Harry! Have fun at the Rainbow Bridge, and take care of everyone for us!!

Oh Harry, what a treasure you have been. A charmed lad, hard-working farm dog, 20 years of canine bliss. You rest well, then we'll be sure to see you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Oh, dear Harry. What a long, wonderful happy life you've led their on the farm. And as well, what a loyal, loving and devoted friend you've been these many years. I wish you a swift and peaceful trip to the Rainbow Bridge, sweetheart. I know your family will miss you terribly until you are reunited again. Until then, run happy, healthy and whole again at the Rainbow Bridge.

Wow, 20 years? That's quite a life. I can't imagine having to cope with the loss of a dog after 20 years.
R.I.P. Harry

I came upon this thread again and just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of your boss and his beloved Harry. I'm sure these days are hard for him. Rest in peace, Harry, best friend ever.
