Casey Went To The Vet...(oh sheesh)

Today I took Casey in for a check up.

He has gained 1 whole pound. He is now 33 pounds! He also got his heartworm medicine too.

But he is not happy. He has to wear a collar at night because he is licking his neuter incision site too much, which is making the disolvable sutures under the skin poke out.

I, however, am getting a good chuckle out of it.

When Oreo had to wear one of those, she kept taking her cone off, too. One day I came home and she had not only removed it, but also chewed it into peices! I guess that was her way of telling me that we were NOT putting it back on!

I finally put Casey's up because I didn't want him to chew it up. His Vet is real poor and they give the collars out on loners, and I have to bring it back in a day or two....

Interesting thing...Last night I had burned my finger real bad, and I guess Casey knew it hurt me because he kept licking it. His hot tongue made it hurt even more, but I didn't want to tell him NO!

Well, at least he wasn't licking his neuter site...

well, i don't have much else to talk about...I could go talk about my cat's in the cat forums, but they havn't done anything worth talking about lately. And I don't have anything to talk about that would fit in with the topics of the other dog forums. And I can't seem to figure out the dog of the day forum, because I can't seem to find the pictures everyone is looking at.

I guess I'm a pretty low profile poster. :cool:

Poor Casey, I hope all goes well for him. I wouldn't like one of those things around my neck either.
