AWW, sounds very adorable. My parents are like that to. If you "lay off" the subject for a while, and then bring it back up, maybe that will work. Im working on getting another pup too, so i know how you feel....good luck!:)

Show that you are responsible. Give examples of things that you are responsible for & how you do a good job at them.
Also get all information together for resposible ownership, for example get a book from your library on how to raise/care for & train a dog, read it & learn & tell your parents what it says to show them you know. Also get together a list of friends or relatives that may be able to watch the dog should you have to leave out of town etc..
Offer to get a part time job of some sort to pay for most of the dogs needs (which can add up so make sure they will also be able to help when needed). Maybe make an agreement & state thet 90% of your earnings will go towards the dog?
Do not get upset if they say no (just makes it worse). If your parents start to get upset about the subject drop it for a day or so & then calmly bring it back up again.
If they still say no, do not give up completely, just drop the subject for a while & keep on learning. Maybe volunteer at your local shelter to learn more & to help homeless animals until you can provide for one properly.
thanks.
most of my money goes to my dog beanie right now.lol.....the reason they won't let me have her is becaus i already have a dog....but i do want her very bad!!!
