My kitten thinks he/she is a fish!

This moring I went out to see Mokie and he/she was meowing his/her head off. I looked into the food bowl first because that's usually why he/she meowes like that, but it was still filled up. The I started to think that somthing was wrong because the food bowl is normally empty in the morning. So I picked Mokie up and tried to figgure out what was the matter. There was a piece of somthing I thought was dental floss hanging off of him/her.I tried to pull it off but it wouldn't buge. Then I looked where it was comming from. It was fishing line with a hook on the other end! It was really in there deep and good and was right were the back leg joins the body so we took him/her to the vet. I don't know how, but it disapeared in the car on the way there. The vet wasn't in yet so I left Mokie there. I should hear from them soon.

well what happend? how is the kitty? is this a stray you are feeding? why don't you know if its a he or a she?

The vet put in a few stiches in where the fish hook was and now Mokie is home and doing fine. No, Mokie is not a stray, I got her when she was six weeks old. She is very active and that's why I haven't been able to get a good look. I finally got a good enough look yesterday and decided this is a GIRL!!!:D How do you train them not to bite?

the vet couldnt tell you what gender the cat is?

The vet thought it was a girl too, but I'ev had 5 other people yell me it's a boy. I think I'll stick with the vet.:)
