Ok, new topic.

What's the funniest thing you ever saw your dog do??? I wanna know how old h/she was and their breed, too.

My casey is only 20 weeks old, and he loves to chase his tail. He growls at himself when he does it, too. Also, he is absolutely facinated with staring at himself in the mirror. He catches his own attention....LOLOL (Yes, he's an Australian Cattle Dog)

:p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

One of the funniest was when Kai stole treats from the kitchen. I managed to take a pic of it but right after I took it, he ripped open a box of milk-bones LOL! Kai was about 7 months or so when that happened and he's a sheltie.

I tried to amuse Kai with the mirror...he doesn't care lol. Maybe I should stick a big fat steak in front of the mirror and see if he bumps into it lol

OH OH OH!!!

Casey did something funny today, too. I took him bye bye today for the first time. He was beside himself! I had my window all the way down and the passenger window about 4 inches down so he couldn't try to jump out. He ran across my lap and stuck his head out my wondow. Then he ran across the front seat and I guess he thought the passenger window was all the way down because he went at it full bore and smashed his nose against the window! I laughed so hard I had to stop. Now I have a huge smear on my window!

Also....um...at the risk of offending someone (sorry if I do) Casey farts REAL BAD! He can clear a room....and has...(hey, who can get offended by farting, really)

LOL! Oh, and when Molly comes in the car with me, we go down the same street every day, and we see the same people walking there dogs every day, and Molly runs up and down the back of the car, barking at them, EVERDAY!:D :) Its kinda funny!

Teddy is terrifed of my son's pony on a stick. He thinks it is a real animal and a huge threat. He'll go nuts for hours barking and running circles around it.

Oh I just remembered another funny thing involving fart incidents. We had just goten Kai, so we went out for supplies with him. I was carrying him in the store and it was dead silent when I heard a fart. My mom said "ewww ASHLEY!" and I said "NOOO it wasn't me! It was Kai!" LOL I even felt it, yuck!

Sierra cracks me up when she gets really hyper and runs around the living room, dining room, bedroom, and bathroom in circles going under the coffee table, up on the couch, over to the love seat, down on the floor, around the table, through the bathroom, through the bedroom, and does it over and over and the other girls just sit there and stare at her running these laps like she's nuts! The looks on the other 2's faces are priceless, especially when Dakota thinks she's done enough to she tries to stop her by barking at her, it's so cute!

Destiny, I don't really know, she does crack me up but I can't remember any specific incidents right now.

Dakota, she's a nutcase. When she was little, she would chase her tail like it was attacking her. Especially if Brian would grab it. Last night, she actually farted really loud (keep in mind this is my dog that doesn't normally fart, it's usually Destiny) on her way up onto the bed and when she got up there, she turned around the looked back to the floor like something down there must have just bit her butt to make that noise, it was kind of amusing. Anyways, she's our normal comedian around the house.

Ahhh, we have a similar story to that. When I was a wee las we had a lab named Lady. she was the most mellow, gentle soul I have ever known! But she loved meat!

One night my grandparents had some friends over for a BBQ. My grandpa had set the raw steaks to be cooked on the table out by the grill. He went inside real quick to get the meat tongs and when he came out, ALL OF THE STEAKS WERE GONE!!!

He had to go to the store and buy more steaks for dinner! A few years later, the friends that came over found a comic in the funnies and it showed a dog running with steak in it's mouth, and a man behind it saying "Stop her, sh's got your dinner!" They sent it to us with "Lady" above the dog!

Both of those people that came over that night have since passed away...including Lady, but we still have the funny.

Maddie use to go through this whole ritual of tossing a piece
of her dog food across the room, pouncing on it, rolling
on her back, then doing this lil' shimmy with her body on
the piece of food and her feet up in the air. When she was sure
it was dead, then she'd eat it. She doesn't do it as much
anymore that she's blind, because it's too hard to find the tossed
piece of food, but she'll still do that with her stuffie toys.

Murph won't come in from outside, until I close and open the
door 3 times. Guess he's superstitious.

On our last camping trip, Oz was trapped in the tent with Maddie
and my best friend, when Maddie went after Oz. I can't remember
what set Maddie off. But Oz was doing circles around the tent,
hopping, trying to keep his feet out of the reach of Maddie's
teeth. My friend was trying to lasso Maddie, but she moves
pretty fast for a blind dog, when she's on a mission to yank out
some Collie hair... And a panicked Collie, in such a small space,
franticly leaping around her wasn't helping either. He had to
lap the tent quite a few times, fore my friend was able to save
him.

for a while we had the window on the screen door open, anyway misty broke the sreen and started going in and out of the house as she pleased and every morning when you opened the main door, she would take a big flying leap through the screen, anyway one nite my dad got annoyed and closed the window. the next morning as usual she took a flying leap but ringht INTO the window!she fell backwords, shook her head, walked up to the window, placed her paws on it, wondering what happend! lol

and right at this moment she thinks the fish are intruders, she cought sight of them and started growling, and now barking! she even has her hackels raised at them! lol

oh and misty sleeps real funny! I dont think she knows she has a back end lol, once she was sound a sleep on my moms lap, well her head and front paws were on my moms lap, but her butt was way up in the air! and she was fast asleep! lol and all the time she will have her head and front paws on your lap, but the rest of her is standing on the floor, and she is sound asleep!lol

misty is barking at the fish again, hehe

oh yah and misty is a 7 month old border collie

I don't know if you can turn html coding on but you can use vb coding. Just type "[i mg] theurl [/i mg]", just make sure you take away the spaces...or an easier way...click the "img" button. If you look to the left, it says post subject then vb code under it. Just look to the right and it says "img" in there somewhere. Can't wait to see more pics of Casey!

HMmm,

I tried that "img" button before and it didn't work. I'll try it again.

When my dog start playing and they are running at each other, the smaller one runs to the other one's side and jumps over him. Sometimes he falls over after he jumps, but he gets right back up. Also, the smaller one is always climbing on stuff in the backyard. Once during the winter when the pool was frozen both of the dogs jumped up onto the pool and were walking around on it until I saw them and made them get down.

My Airedale used to bring in moles from the back yard. He'd walk into the house- have a smile on his face and give my mom his still living "prize" expecting her to play fetch with him. My mom is deathly afraid of mice and poor old Paddel couldn't understand why she screamed! he brought in about 5 moles that summer not harming a single hair on those little blind cuties.:)

My Brandy (MinPin) after she goes out for her "nature call" always jumps up and down on the door to let me know she wants in. Well the other day the door wasn't shut right, so when she jumped on it,it opened. Brandy of course keep jumping still trying to get in, even though all she had to do was WALK IN!! I had to hold the door as if I was opening it before she come in.

One thing she does all the time is wanting to be in the room I'm in. So if I stand in a door way and she not sure what room I''m going to, she will run in and out of each room over and over and over again till I pick a room. It's just something you have to see, you can't help but laugh. Even the other dogs look at her as if she's nuts.:D

I was at the grocery store today and I was looking at their clearance stuff and I found the biggest rawhyde bone I have ever seen and it was peanut butter flavored!!! I only paid a dollar for it!!!

When I took it out of the bag and he saw it, he almost had a heart attack!!! He took it from my hand and ever so carefully hid it in the corner of the kitchen.

He has since then retrieved it from the corner, began chewing and hasn't moved in 20 minutes!!
