Is it true that breeding your rats minimize there chances of getting a reproductive tumor (not sure if thats what they are called)
Is there anything else I can do to help prevent them from getting Tumors? I want to do everything I can and pray they don't get any.
Thanx a bunch!

NO!!! Breeding does not minimize the risk...it INHANCES the risk. Both of my rats who have gotten tumors had babies.
Here is some information on preventing rat tumors:
Article 1 (http://www.ratfanclub.org/spay.html)
Article 2 (http://www.rmca.org/Articles/tumors.htm)
Article 3 (http://www.rmca.org/Articles/tumorstudy.htm)
Article 4 (http://www.ratfanclub.org/tumors.html)
I hope those help you out a little bit.

YES, it inhances the risks. I used to have mice, that had babies (it was an accident). and they both died from horrible tumors, and so did most of their offspring.:(
