Binx at the white coats .. ..

Well, this morning was our re-check. It wasn't a very good appointment. The gums have largely grown back over the teeth. The white coat was visibly dissapointed, something I observed even before he told me the hard news. He is going to consult with the other vet specialist, and we will prolly have another Sir Jury later this month, depending on the other vet's schedule/trip to our city.

I am first very sad for Binx. Second, I am very frustrated. Third, I don't intend to quit the road we have chosen, nor love Binx any less.

On the 'plus' side....fat boy weighed in at 73 lbs...that was a 13 pound increase from three weeks ago!

Wow, yes, bad news from the vet but good news he's gained weighted! Hope things go better and better as time goes and as the next sir jury is performed. Guess sometimes it just takes a few tries before things fully work out. Better luck next time hopefully! We'll be thinking of you and Binx and hope things turn out for the best in the end! Glad to hear that you're sticking with it though, yes, it must be very frustrating!

Well, that is a disappointment to be sure. Poor Binx with more surgery on the cards. He is lucky to have you though, to stick with him and love him, I hate to think what may be happening to him if he didn`t. Good news about the weight though!:)
Will keep Binxy boy in my prayers.

Poor Binxy boy. "Little" guy has been through a lot in his short life. I'm sure glad you got him Jo, because we know he'll be loved. Let us know what happens.

Poor Binx! He's a pretty puppy! What's wrong with his teeth? How old is Binx? I am new here, so I don't quite know everyone yet. I just had to have eight baby teeth pulled from Teddy. The vet said that he has poly dentia or somthing like that; to many baby teeth. The vet made mention that Teddy is behind schedule, that he should have a few adult teeth by now. I'm supposed to wait a few more months and see.

Sorry to hear that things aren't going as well for Binx as they could be, but we all ove him, toothless or not!! The weight gain is good news!! Just shows you again, he needed you to love and care for him :)
