I know some of the drawbacks of loving an Alpha girl myself, but also know the appeal of the confidence, attitude, spirit and independent nature you girls have. Did I forget to mention beauty ? What was I thinking?

Casey, I am so sorry you didn't find your forever home the first time out but you've got the grit and determination to keep going and obviously you made it to people who can understand and direct you. I know that word isn't easy on those goreous ears.

I just have to add that I love your picture, and I can tell you are a model at heart, and like a true alpha girl, find that the jacket of your person is the best place to rest and relax. Congratulations dear Casey, you know you are our Queen as well as our Dog of the Day.

Mew, mew, I understand very well, Casey. I'm the Alpha cat and would be most unhappy if I had to share my KatMa with another kitty!

You are a very alert looking dog, and very pretty too. It is nice you are learning to be part of the team: (is this a human boy?)eight-year-old boy, two leopard geckos and two cats, not to mention your human parents. I don't know if I could learn to live w/other pets. As a kitten I was abused & abandoned. It took me a while to completely trust my KatMa and over a year to trust my Paw-paw AKA KatDaddy. KatMa thinks the humans who harmed me must have been male which would explain why it took so long to trust Paw-paw.
