OK, so I just had to share with ya'll the mor'n I have had already. (08:25am). Cisco and I went out for morning walk and a lady driving by asked if I had seen a Big Black dog. I said no and what was his name and breed. She said it was a Lab, a big baby and his name was Indy. She(Ann) said that she was watching a friends dog who had dug a hole under the fence last night and both dogs had escaped! I told her that I would be home most of the day and would keep a sharp eye out for Indy. Ann gave me her card and said to please call if I had any luck. I said I would be more than happy to. Well, Ann went on and so Cisco and I continued our walk. As we nearly reached our home I noticed a sign on the inside of a homes front door. It read like this: FOUND BIG BLACK DOG!! I couldn't believe it! This had to be Indy! I went up to the door and rang the door bell, but no answer. There were a couple of phone #'s on the sign so I went home got a pen and wrote the #'s and the address down. I than called Ann and told her. I asked her to please call me back and let me know. She was estatic and said she would call me right back. Well, it was Indy!! The family took him in around 10;30 last night and said he was just fine. :D Ann was in tears and was soooo happy! This has really started my day off on the right foot(paw)!!!!:)
ps-the friends dog(hound dog) is still missing.:( :(

sorry thids was so long, but I'm still pumped up!!:D

Speaking as one who has had a missing dog recently, I can attest that there is no worse feeling. I'm glad Indy is home, but I am sad that the hound is still running. I hope they find him soon. Please let us know.

Great news and great job!!:) I'm so happy that Indy's safe and sound. But, Mugsy's right. What a frightening experience to have a lost doggie. I'll be hoping and praying that the visiting pup is also found soon. Hopefully he's wearing a collar and tags. The family must be beside themselves:(

I'm glad to hear that Indy is home--thanks for paying such close attention, and getting this pooch home!! I am hoping the hound makes it home soon too--did anyone see the beagle on the news who was just reunited with his family--he had traveled 1000 miles:eek:
