YooHoo!!! Sue!!!! How about this guy in NJ?

I just got this off my yahoo groups.....

The big GSD boy in Cage 96 at the Associated Humane Society Shelter in
Newark, NJ has been waiting for a new home since March 16. He's ready to get
out of the shelter and move on. Isn't there someone who can help him out?

This is a really handsome mixed breed, an adult male weighing about 100 lbs,
with a definite German Shepherd look to him. He was brought in as a stray.
He gets kind of protective in his kennel, but once he's outside, he's fine.
If you have a place in your heart for him, please contact the shelter
directly, email Karen at karenapow @aol.com (remove the space). Is there
anyone out there who can help? Refer to #3894 (Cage 96).

Oh the poor guy!!! You have been there way too long! Shepherds don't like being caged for so long. They go cage-crazy! I feel so bad for you. I hope someone soon sees your beauty and character and takes you right home!! Prayers for this sweet dog (and all the rest at that shelter)!

Do you think your rescue might be able to help Sue?

Molly, I've spoken to the director of the rescue and she said she would like to keep the rescuing in our area. There is such a big need here. :( We wish we could help out all over, but we are needed here, especially since we've been held back waiting for the papers to be all legal. I can't foster at the time being because Killian's autoimmune disease is not under control. We are having a problem.

So sorry I can't help. I would love to be able to! :(
