Sammy meets her "daddy".......

Well, my husband got home a while ago and got to meet his new baby kitten - and he loves her! When he first walked in, Sammy was laying with YLL on the couch, and after a minute he just stared at the kitten for a while, and then said "what is that?" I said it's our new cat, and he said "well, I hope this one likes me more than Dudley does". Ummmm.........she sure does, as you can tell by this picture 5 minutes after she met him.......


He really does love kitties, but he did say "what if this happens again and somebody hands you a cute fuzzy kitten?" So far it's only happened once every 20 years or so, so I don't think it will be a problem :D . (My RB girl kitty was the last baby kitten I had, back in 1985.) I think he's afraid I'll start collecting kitties like YLL collects rats :D .

Personally, I don't think I know in person more women that like cats than men. Maybe some just don't talk about it. But when a couple comes to my place, it's almost always the man that plays with my kitty. And in some families I know, the husband is the one that insist on having cats. :)

Awww....that is soooo sweet! And it was soooo easy to convince hubby! I'm soooo jealous. ;) :D

Sammy is adorable and she looks like she feels completely safe and protected laying on Daddy's shoulder. :D
