‘Lets see, what would be fun’ thinks Steve, ‘I know I’ll play with the cats.’
‘Right, what shall me & the cats play with ?’
‘Ball’… No
‘Fishing rod toy’… No
‘How about the home cinema surround system’…..Yes that will be fun.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Having returned from a weekend away, I found the following photos uploaded from the digital camera.
My dearest admitted to using the remote control for the home cinema system, to tease the cats by opening and closing the dvd carriage from the other side of the room. George was too smart for this trick, he went to sleep but Milly & Milo were very interested.

Sigh…Next time I have a weekend break, I need both a cat & a partner sitter.

Don't tease your cat with something that you do NOT want them to associate with a toy!:D :D

Little Miss "Don't get the cats to play with the DVD player" was teasing them with it not an hour after she posted this.

This is my worst nightmare! My hubby has spend a ton of money on a home theatre system, and Ally has been known, on occasion, to attempt to circumnavigate the room without touching the floor.......
armchair.....speaker...sofa.....speaker........... sub.....TV........cabinet......etc.
She is SO LUCKY Daddy hasn't caught her !! (Isn't it funny how they know EXACTLY how much to push their luck??? She does things around me that she would NEVER do when Daddys around!)
Milly just looks like such a little cutie - is she showning any signs of growning into her paws yet? Her face looks like she is a Harlequin on her way to a Masked Ball!

Too funny!
I would imagine that after he got done playing with the "remote control kitties," there wasn't much time left for the film. ;) :D

That 'fat cat' pillow is a present from my mother BC (before cats)
George used to cuddle up to this pillow. I thought this meant he wanted a real cat to cuddle with, Steve thought this meant the cat pillow was comfy.

LOL, well with 2 more kitties did you guys figure out who was right? Was it that the pillow was more comfy, or did George want another Kitty? (just not milly ...lol ;) )

It's Anaglypta (sp?) and the text is latin, though I've no idea what it says.

As PayForIt says we don't know execately what it says in latin. (Something about Calligraphy) The pattern also has Celtic knots in the design.
We bought this paper to cover the bumpy walls and as the paper is quite thick, it did the job well.
Also I thought it was pretty and it is designed to be painted over in the paint colour of your choice. So we have three cream walls and one red (to set off, the 200 year old cast iron fireplace which we fitted)

PayItFoward: Maybe it's time for the threatening part then, lolol.
I left him alone for like 2 nights (just at night, he had to care for 2 young orphan kittens) he couldn't do it, I was so sickened by the site of the litter box and that they hadn't aten enouch when I came back home both days.
I know he hates scooping litter boxes and such, but he will feed the cats about 40% of the time now, I try to keep him ready and know how to do things incase I ever can not do it myself for some reason.
I went away for about 4 or so days to Maine for a while so he had to care for 3 cats, ferret and a bird, he did a good job this time. I printed out everything he needed to know, and a schedule, plus I said I would kill him if anything happened to my babies while I was away. I also added that Asim will poo/piss on our bed if he doesn't scoop the litter box well enough, it was a good incentive! :D

Me too... Kidding. At this moment, almost all my things are packed in boxes. I may (I hope to) move to my OWN apt very soon if a deal works out. If not, I'll just have to wait for the next good deal with my boxes ready, just like in the railway station.

LOL, rofl... thats exactly what I thought at first too!:D
those are great pics... my cats love to watch the printer, when Im printing something, its all I can do to keep Cassie or one of the others from trying to get INSIDE the thing...Cassie especially( of course-Cassie!) will bend down, LOOK in there and try to put her paw in there.. she must think.." I AM going to find out whats in there! im going to get inside!"

ok heres an idea for lazy husbands/boyfriends... if you don't want to scoop the litter box... and HOW could you NOT want to.. I mean its gross but but not as gross as the alternitive!...then put less litter in there and empty the whole thing each day and put fresh litter... it might use up more litter for a few days BUT at least the kitties wont have to be grossed out in their own potty!
also can add another box so there is more boxes to use, so each will be used less.
I don't think I would like to be a cat that had to step into a dirty box!
