Are they neutered? How old are they?

No they are not. But my dad and I are thinking about it.They were 1 year old in April.

That's almost certainly why they're fighting, each wanting to be the dominant breeding male, and as they're not neutered, their hormones are probably running amok about now.

Get 'em fixed, and the squabbles will probably lessen considerably.

Chances are if you don't get them neutered one of them will start spraying to mark their territory. You really don't want that!

Your kitties are not being bad... they are being normal healthy, mature (un-neutered) male cats! They will fight all the time and possibly hurt eachother if they aren't neutered soon! Please ask your dad to have them neutered soon! Also, they will tend to want to roam the neighborhood, and will produce pregnant females with kittens who may not get good homes. Male cats also spray very strong (smelly) urine to mark their territory. You will have this odor all over your house if they start spraying! The sooner they are neutered the better for everyone!

GOOD LUCK getting Dad to agree!!! :)

Yes, if you want peace in the household, you will not delay in neutering your boys. Hopefully your dad will realize that this is the ONLY responsible thing to do.

Another interesting fact: The lifespan of an intact male outside cat is about 1/3 of that of a neutered male. An inside only cat however will typically live almost twice as a long as an outside cat. These are very broad generalizations, but you get the point. :D Just thought you might be interested......

 You have UNNEUTERED OUTOOR male cats. And you don;t know if neutering is the thing to do?!? have you read any statistics on how many kittens can be born in a cat's life time? and how many are KILLED at shelters because there are not enough homes to go around. You just lost all my support!!!!!!! (and don't be telling me she is just a kid, her parents are obviously not any better)

 what does grooming your cats every day have to do with the fact that they are not neutered and will go on having litter after litter of kittens who will grow up to have litter upon litter of kittens?

I hope you mean your cats are inside/outside cats. i.e. They have access to the inside whenever they want ?

Ps. Until these cats are altered they need to be inside 24/7.
