View Full Version : I need your help on a little "project"

Most of you probably remember Ktreva (Chris)who has been such a part of this site for a while. She moved to Tennessee recently and is not equipped with a computer at the moment. We are writing via "snail mail", and in a letter today, she requested that I please tell all of you "hello" for her. She misses this site very much and is working through the computer issues and hopefully will be able to join us in the coming months. She even asked me about "Frito Feet" and I plan to print the whole thing off for her so she can get a good laugh.

What I'd like for you all to do is to write Chris/Ktreva a happy little note under this post and I'll print them all out for her and mail them to her. I think she would be delighted! Or if you prefer, e-mail me a note for her and I'll print it off and include in my package. I think it will brighten her day. She is adjusting well with her new location and sounds good. Wants me to fill her in on all of you, plus what is going on in my wild household!
So start posting and I will print off what we have on Monday and mail a package of your good wishes to her.
Thanks in advance. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

Hi Chris, So that's why you haven't been posting lately! I am glad to know you are okay and that you still think of us here and hopefully will be back on board soon.

Logan, How about printing out the "Cinder found a Stray" adventures for Chris? That little mutt can bring a smile to anybody's face. It would be a little valentine for Chris. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

That is a great idea! I'll print it and send with my letter and your notes today.
Thanks. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif
Keep those notes coming, folks. I'm going to try and mail to her today.

PS. Rachel, Chris will be reading a "mini" novel. Cinder's saga printed out 40 pages!!! She will love it. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Hi Chris,

Hope you're settling in well. I too have been semi-absent this past month, but that is just due to being extra busy at work.
I'm sure you'll enjoy Cinder's story, it has had me in tears (happy, laughing ones) numerous times! Come back soon.

Hay guys just wondering were is the Cinder story?

02-10-2001, 01:07 AM
Go to Dog Rescue, and prepare to read for a while. It is hilarious and wonderful! When I printed the story for Chris this morning, it was 40 pages!!!

02-10-2001, 01:22 PM
Oh m'gosh - 40 pages? Is that a hint we talk too much? http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/redface.gif

Of course you don't talk too much, Cinder, you just had a big important story to tell! And she probably had her font-size set big, too. Hope all is well with you and Smokey! And Kat, too. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

02-10-2001, 11:46 PM
I love your stories. That's why I printed the whole thing! If I had printed it today, it would be longer.
Keep the wonderful stories coming.
And everyone else, keep writing to Chris. I'm printing and mailing on Monday. You too, Karen!!!

I had nice long letter from Chris yesterday. She said to please tell everyone hello again and she absolutely loved Cinder and Smokey's ongoing saga. All 40 pages! She said it is just "Phabulous". Thought you would like that spelling, Phred. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/wink.gif
Anyway, her big news is that she got a 4 month old Jack Russell Terrier last week. Its a little girl, and Chris says that she is a "tri-color". I don't know much about Jack Russells, but Chris is thrilled. I think this makes two for her now. She is calling this one "Lys" (pronounced LEASE), as in Ellysium. She is thrilled with her new baby. I hope when she gets her computer fixed, or gets a new one, she will share pictures with us.
Anyway, she really appreciated the good wishes too, from all of you. If you post more, I will print and send them to her too. Its been so long since I've written "real" snail mail letters, that I'm having to type them! Chris has beautiful penmanship and wrote me 6 legal sheets over a few days. Isn't that something?
She is hoping to be back soon.

02-21-2001, 12:09 PM

Congrats on your new pup, Lys. I hope you have many long fun years together!

With a Jack Russell puppy in the house, who has time for being on the computer anyway.
Congratulations on your new addition, Chris. I can't wait to hear of all the escapades of Lys and hopefully some pictures posted.
