Last night I returned home from a business trip. It was a 9.5 hour flight and I was in the section reserved for crying babies and antsy teenagers.

I exited the airport where my husband was waiting for me and there was......

EDWINA . In her harness and leash of course, she was standing on the passenger side looking out the window as if in search of me!

What a wonderful welcome home!

Of course she really just wanted to practice going to the airport so she is prepared for her trip to Juni's party!

What a great homecoming!! Too bad you didn't get pictures. :( Lady Edwina is DEFINITELY a looker (a quote from MooShoo).

They should have separate airplanes for screaming crumsnatchers and teenagers, IMO.

What a great surprise after such a bad flight experience. Too bad there are no pictures.

That was so nice of Miss Edwina to greet you at the airport. Do tell, was she wearing a spring ensemble??

Awww...that was so sweet of Don to bring her out to meet you. :) And was she happy to see you, or still mad about the vet visit last week? ;) :)

One of my high school friends was in town last weekend, and she said whenever she gets home, at first she is greeted with great gusto by her two kitties, and then they remember they are supposed to be mad at her for leaving them. So she gets the silent treatment for a bit, but it usually doesn't last very long.

I'm dying to know too....did Edwina get a new hat while you were away? As you're reading through all the past posts, you'll notice that Maya is looking for a little advice on hats. ;) :D Seems our kitties couldn't do without the fashion advice of our favorite Winny. :D

Oh how nice to have your husband bring Edwina to welcome you home. Juni's party AND hat shopping with Maya. She is going to be accumulating those frequent flyer miles.

Unfortunately I had virtually no time for shopping on this trip. I did manage a quick run into Harrod's and got Edwina a gift I am hoping she will share with her beloved momma.

Dark chocolate....my favorite!

This weekend Edwina and I will be working on her outfit for Juni's party. We are waiting to find out if it is black tie!

Three cheers for your hubby. **You know what** could freeze over before mine would ever think of bringing one of the cats in the car for a trip like that. Poor kitties only get to ride in the car on the way to the vet's. :(

Oh, by the way, the chocolate kitty is making me drool! YUM!

What a great surprise to have both your husband and Edwina to welcome you home at the airport. :) That chocolate cat sure looks good. :)

Hee, hee, hee. I'm laughing aloud at your adventures and your warm welcome home. I can almost imagine our heroine at O'Hare...

(Did I tell you she is my wallpaper computer at work and the EIS folks are constantly telling me how beautiful she is? Although explaining that she is the cat of a friend is getting a bit odd. Maybe I'd better break down and put one of my own furkids up there...)

Sara, you could not ask for a better welcome home. What a sweet gesture of your husband and Edwina to come and greet you at the airport!! :) I'm dying to know how many comments Edwina got there.

Edwina, did you get a good look around to see where the gates are situated for your coming trip to Juni's party? :D

The chocolade cat looks delicious, I'm sure it's made from the very best chocolade, but it's hard to break isn't it?

How totally sweet! Edwina and Don to greet you. He is wonderful to think so much of the both of you to bring her along.

As to the chocolate? While it looks yummy, I just can't bring myself to eat any animal figures!!!
