I can't ever image why someone would throw an angel like this into a pound! She's called MacKenzie, and she's in Swanton, OH. Here's her write-up:

A 7 pound, 9 week old female Lab/Spaniel mix that was rescued from The Animal Shelter in Zanesville. MacKenize is very loving and is a little spit fire.

I would take her in a heartbeat if only my parents would let me! :p :D

She is adorable!!!! Unfortunately, Zanesville is one of Ohio worst (although far from the worst) pounds and somehow a lot of puppies end up there, On a more postive note, many rescues know this, so many are saved!

The rescue group she is with is a very good one and their puppies go fast! I'm sure she'll have a good home very soon!

Aw, what a cutie!!!
YLL, you'll have to talk to your mom!!!!!

Glad to hear she is with a great rescue group, that should give her a loving forever home quickly!!

Planned Pethood was where we got Taggert. Amy is right - their pups are adopted pretty quickly so I too would imagine MacKenzie would go quickly. All the pups through them seem to be well taken care of. I would consider being a foster but I would never let anyone adopt "my pup".
