Anybody Like Irish Setters Or Russian- Europen Laikas?!?!?

:) Hi I was just wondering if anybody out there likes Russian- European Laikas or Irish Setter they are so cool. I used to have an Irish Setter Viszla mix but when I had to move from Yougoslavia to America (USA) I had to leave her. Her name was Layka. That day was the worst day of my life. So let me know if there are any fans of any of those type of dogs ...Caio!!!...-Layka :D

I think the Irish Setter is a beautiful dog! Although I don't know much about the breed. I've never heard of the Russian- European Laikas. Do you have a picture of one? I have seeen the Viszla, but again I don't know much about the breed. I'm so sorry you had to leave your Layka behind. Hopefully, in good hands so that you don't have to worry too much. I also wanted to welcome you to Pet Talk. You will definitely like it here.:)

I don't know anything about the Laikas, but Irish Setters are beautiful!! Viszlas too!!
I'm sorry you had to leave your baby behind, maybe you can find another fur friend her in the US.

I also wanted to say that my sister-in-law is from Slovakia, and has lived here for about 4 years. I have learned a lot about that part of the world from her, and while I realize it is a separate country, she told us that no one has dogs or cats for pets there--I think it was just because she didn't want one!!!!

I don't know what city, but she does know the language, a lot better than she knows English!! Her daughter, who was 6 when they moved here, can speak both fluently!!

Thank you for the Web address "auggie". I think that they are really cool dogs but at most of the Shows they arent even registered they must be really rare in the states. Oh and by the way I'm from Washington. Any body else from Washington?-Layka:D
