Roly Poly
Cat
Tortoiseshell Mix
Size: Large
Age: Adult
Sex: Female
I.D:
Notes: Okay, so maybe you can't tell from looking at my picture, but you might guess from my name, "Roly Poly", that I'm a "fat cat". I have been at the shelter for over 3 years now, and it really makes me sad to see person after person pass me by for kittens or "fancy" looking cats, when my heart is so full of love! This week, they asked the girls who work with us cats to pick who THEY thought ought to be posted in hopes of finding a forever home . . . and I was their first choice! I may be kind of chunky, but I am very sweet and gentle and cuddly, and want nothing more than a warm lap and a window I could look out of (instead of my cage) and see birds and sunshine, instead of other cats in cages. Won't you give me a chance? I don't know how many of my 9 lives I might have used up in here, but I still have plenty left for loving YOU! Kitty kisses, Roly Poly.
This pet is: up to date with routine shots, already house trained, altered

Sending a prayer that Roly Poly WILL find a forever home TODAY.
Stand in agreement with me that it WILL happen!

A grown up Milly. :D
Gosh I wish we had the space (and lived nearer !!)
I don't understand why she hasn't been adopted yet.
PS. I wonder if she is a she-devil, like our little Milly girl.

Now that I have finnished crying like a baby over that sad, sad message, I am sending ALL the prayers I can that TODAY is the day someone will see Roly-Poly for the treasure she is.

Roly Poly looks so much like Fister's mum. It's hearthbreaking that she didn't find a forever home yet. :( I really, really hope someone will see her and give her the loving home she deserves, very soon!

Poor baby, she is so cute. If I had the space and lived closer, I'd pick her up in a heartbeat.

What a pretty girl!
Mozart came from that shelter! They had a day at Petsmart.. and they had him.. Really super nice people, great to adopt from.. I can vouch for them. really good people! Kind to cats.. nice people, period...
If only I had room for another kitty, I'd be driving the 2 hours right now!!!
Kim... come get her :D It wouldn't take that long.. :D
I'm hoping she gets adopted soon! Mozart is 3.. so she must have got to the shelter about that time.. haven't seen her tho, so she wasn't at petsmart that day... 3 years ago in may..... *sigh*
Keep us updated! I'll try and check in with them too on her status!

We also drove 2 hours to that shelter, except we went and got a dog! We got our Sophie from them! They are excellent people to deal with. My friend from school is adopting a puppy from them too and should be making that 2 hour drive again next weekend.

I really wish I could but it is a zoo right now in my tiny apartment. :(
I don't think bringing another cat into the mix would be fair. Andy rents from someone else that doesn't want cats so he doesn't have that option.
I do pray that she finds her forever home soon.
AHHHH!!!! I want to save them all.. :(
