Good Morning Pooter! Your sweet, sweet face really puts a smile on mine! You are certainly a terrier who knows how to enjoy life. And it surely DOES sound like you've got it made in the shade! Fun filled days and best of all, tons of love and devotion from Jeff and Amy! How proud they must be to have had you in their lives all these years! I know that many, many days of happy adventures await you and your very special family http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif Congratulations Pooter, our sweet, joyful and loving Dog of the Day! Tell Amy and Jeff to give you lots of extra hugs, kisses, skritchins and belly rubs from me. And of course, today you deserve an extra special squeaky toy to celebrate!

Congrads Pooter!!!

Your name reminds me of a little dog i once knew... Pooter was a great little girl doggie i knew she was one of the "ugliest" dogs at the pund and it was her last day so my neighbor Patty adopted Pooter. Pooter was like my dog.. i knew here since day one i was born. She died this year because she had a big tumor in her mouth so they decided to put her to sleep because she could hardly eat any more because her teeth were getting pushed out from the tumor. Well the vet said that she was saposed to die in a year.. about 7 years ago. She lived 6 years unexpectingly. Pooter was really old when she went away she was like 16.. ut when i went over she still played like a bouncy puppy she once was. She NEVER liked water. Never once ran away and stayed by my side when i visited. Pooter was a great dog. But now shes gone and is still in my heart.

Thanks Pooter, DOTD, for bringing back great memories.

Oh, I know why you called Pooter "Harley", Sandra. When I saw that face, that was the first name that came to my mind as well, and when I read Pooter's story, I knew he and the 'one that will remain in our hearts forever' were two of a kind.

Pooter, you are indeed a terrier through and through. You are what makes life a challenge and at the same time worth living. Jeff and Amy have been blessed with the very essence of joy when you came into their lives and I know you have taught them many lessons in the course of the years you have been with them. Pooter, you are one very special Dog of the Day.

Yikes Rachel, thanks! And my BIG apologies to Pooter. That's what happens when you try and be first in the morning. Pooter, please forgive me!

Sandra...Don't feel bad. When I first saw Pooter today I thought for a minute it was Harley too. Sorry, Pooter's people, but we have followed a tale about little Harley and have grown to love wired hair terriers from reading about him.

I loved reading about you, Pooter. My Bella thinks you are so brave to attack vacuum cleaners. At 5 months, she is still afraid of the "monster with the light." Congrats today Pooter. You are living the good life like any good doggie should, and today you receive top honors. Enjoy yourself! You are top dog today!! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif
