vanilla water?

Has anyone here tried putting vanilla in your pet's water to help with bad smelling pee problems? Icarus has develeoped an extremely bad odour problem...I'm glad that he's using his litter box, but even when the litter goes out, the smell stays!

I was thinking of buying vanilla as I heard it may get rid of the pee smell. Anyone had this experience? :confused:

I think this may have come up before so you might want to do a search. My experience has been that this works VERY well. The formula is supposed to be 1 tsp of vanilla per gallon of water. My girls have been getting a little bit stinky too so I'm going to start doing this now that you reminded me. (Thanks!) Good luck!

Thanks, now I just have to figure out how much a gallon of water is, lol, I'm useless :p

A gallon is like the size of a 4 litre milk jug :) You could mix it up in one of those jugs and just pour from that :)
