I'm watching the Eukaneuba (sp?) show and I don't remember seeing any Pit Bulls. In fact, I don't remember ever seeing them in any shows. Are they not allowed in the show? Because that would just be terrible!

I forgot about the Eukanuba show! :(

They are probably there As AMerican Pit Bull Terriers, and are shown in the "Terrier" group.

APBT's are not recognised by the AKC. Only Am Staffs.

Yeah, they showed an American Staffordshire Terrier (or something like that, I probably totally butchered the name :o) and mentionned the Pit Bull, but I wasn't sure.
Anyone know for sure?

I caught the last part, and now they're re-running it so I get to see the whole thing, just without the suspense! :)

Ha! You got it right. Pit Bulls can't be AKC registered.

I think they probably mentioned that most people think Am Staffs are Mmerican Pit Bulls. They do resemble each other. Many people even confuse the Bull Terrier (think Spuds McKenzie) with pits.

Basically the Am Staffs are the "show" versions of the pits. The APBT is more of a true game/working dog.

Okay, I get it now. Thanks! :D
