for those of you who have recently lost a pet as i have, just wanted to show you pic of our little boys grave, excuse its a bit untidy the lawns were due for mowing, and i had to use the camera whilst i had it on loan.
He is under the camelia tree , which when it blooms is glorious, he has sunflowers for respect, a butterfly, because he loved to chase them, a heart, our love for him, an angel to guide him, and of course his pic and a special stone we made for him, just wanted to share it with you all
Oh and i forgot the little black kitten soft toy, which was given to my daughter by her grandmother who died a few years ago, looks like him.

Thank you, its not extravagant, but we wanted something special and unique for our little boy bless him, the box we put him in is all decorated and has love messages from us all on it, and he has his favourtie ball toy with him, i wrapped him in a pretty sheet before i put him in and said goodbye, it was my young daughters idea, she had helped to decorate her grannies coffin 2years ago, with all her cousins and i guess thats what she wanted to do for sooti, very healing, it was unusal but granny was a very eccentric old lady and she would have loved it, her coffin was bright blue with gold angels etc on it, and as she was a music teacher there were things on there relating to that also.

Carole,
What a wonderful tribute to Sooti. It made me cry. Especially when you explained what all the items stand for. Casey's ashes
:(, who would've turned 8 tomorrow (Easter Sunday) are in a box made out of wood only found in Hawaii. I had a little gold heart made with his name and DOB and DOD. Inside is a milk jug ring, his favorite toy. I keep it on my bookshelf in my living room beside his picture and a candle, which is always lit when I'm home.
It's a real comfort.

Carole, this is such a beautiful memorial to Sooti. He knows that you loved him very much. Since I don't have a yard of my own, my Pepper was buried out in the country in a very peaceful setting. Thanks for sharing this with us.

your tribute to casey sounds equally as beautiful, it will be a sad day for you tomorrow, i will be thinking of you, sooti died on the 11th feb 2003 and my uncle died the day before, i did not ever meet my uncle or know him at all, but i felt sad for my mother and his family in scotland, and the next day my sadness increased so bad when my sooti went to rainbow bridge, it was a tough month for sure, lexie has brought such joy to me againl but i will never ever forget my lovely sooti, bless you my baby.
