This is Christian.....He needs to be adopted or monetary help to pay for surgery. If you want to help go to www.bchumane.org and get the address to send money, but please email Leigh Ann at [email protected] and tell her money is on the way to insure his safety. He looks so sweet.

Christian
Dog
Hound Mix

Size: Large
Age: Young
Sex: Male
I.D:

Notes: Christian is an adorable, calm, affectionate Hound mix, who is about 18 months old. Sadly, Christian has been injured as a pup, and it appears he never received medical attention. His shoulder and tail have been broken and healed with out being set. He gets around very well by carrying his leg up off the ground, but he may require surgery to ease his discomfort. While Christian has had a painful past, you would never know it by looking into his eyes. He is as loyal, and trusting as ever a faithful companion could be, without a mean bone in his body. Christian has been vaccinated and wormed, and will be neutered if an adoption is approved for him. For more information, please call the shelter during our open hours at (812) 988-7362. Open 12:00 to 5:00 Mon., Wed., Fri., and Weekends. Come to beautiful Brown County and see us! Brown County Humane Society, 128 St.Rt. 135 South, Nashville, IN 47448

Any idea what kind of $$ is needed? I'm sure I can't afford it alone, but how many people here might be willing to chip in? Could we raise enough (overnight?)

One piece of good news. Leigh Ann to Christian to the vet and he doesn't need surgery. Yeah for him!! I guess they are going to attempt to adopt him out. I got an email from one of the yahoo groups I belong to and someone in KY was inquiring about him, so hold your breathes and we'll see what happens.

I talked to Leigh Ann today and she said the vet said that surgery wouldn't help unless there were a lot of them. Now for the good news! I posted all over yahoo with the info and the donation offers came flowing in I guess, to the point that she called me and told me what the vet said! Also, a woman in Illinois who has a hound rescue contacted her and is coming down next Saturday to get him!! YEAH!! I am so happy!! Leigh Ann is thrilled so now it's going to be my mission to try and help out the dogs she can't move.
