Seeing as Milo has settled in very quickly we decided to introduce them this morning and see what happens.
First off with the pet carrier...
Milo: As much as I like this box can I get out at some point please?

Milly:Aha! Someone new to pounce on.
http://www.jennykenwright.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/meeting1b.jpg
One hissy fit from Milo later...
Milly:Maybe I'll rethink that a bit.
http://www.jennykenwright.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/meeting2.jpg
George:Oh please, no another one.
http://www.jennykenwright.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/meeting3.jpg
Milly:Ha! Re-inforcements.

At that point we had a timeout. Later we let Milo out for a wander with the other two locked out. Again he settled in very quickly so we let them out...
Milo:So, what's the food like here then?
George:Ewww, is it speaking to me?

In the red corner...

Well I suppose if they each have a corner each then we still have somewhere to sit.
Or more likely space for another cat.

Mmmm they enjoy the following:-
George prefers to sleep or play with us hoomans
Milly prefers to jump on George's head, esp if he is asleep or tries to play with George
See the conflict!!
Milo, well he is new so we are not sure about his preferences yet. We hope sleeping with George and playing with Milly.
That would be perfect.:D

Great pics. :D I'm sure he'll fit in soon. It just takes time. I've had Cirrus for almost 5 weeks now and there are still some spats between my 3 every now and then. Good luck. :)

Welcome to you and Milo!
My second tuxedo cat was called Milo. (RB)
It's a sweet name for a sweet boy.
Let's see some more pictures.

Don't worry about lack of pictures. The problem is stopping posting photos when we start. Opps we did it again thread has a picture of Milo ,being a tart.

I just love introductions!!! Welcom Milo, you Tuxie Cutie Pie! I know, like all the other tuxies, you will find your position in with the mini-herd. Slow and easy goes the tuxie into a house of other kitties.
My introductions have always gone smoothly, knock on wood. I love the re-positioning of the hierachy...and note I get further and further down the pole. Hmmm...something isn't right about that.

Great pics! It was so cute when Milo had a hissy fit and Milly had to re-think. :D
And George "Ewww, is it speaking to me?" :D :D
Thanks for letting us share in the introduction. :D

Milo- the name fits purrfect because he looks like Milo from the books:D
I keep my fingers and paws crossed that he can keep the waves a little softer in your house.

Well as I type (dare I say it) things are calmer.
Milo is rolling around my lap.
Milly is asleep on the giant cat bed.
George is watching the outside world go by, lying in the cat tree.
Since we moved the tree into the window, George has adopted the middle platform as his. It's a hammock level and must be very comfy.
In fact this morning, I managed to get a picture of both George and Milly sitting on different levels of the cat tree. No fighting. (I'll post it later)
I'm quietly confident, that three cats might be the right number for us.
Milly spends 50% of her awake time pouncing on Milo and this gives George a well deserved break and Milo doesn't seem to mind being pounced on.
Hopefully Milo may end up playing with Milly, once he is settled. Fingers Crossed

The introductions sound like they are doing very well....even George! :)
Milly sounds like a fun kitty...always looking to play. Do you think Milo will eventually like to play with her?

I really hope so. They keep sniffing backsides and noses. Milly & Milo will play with the fishing rod with me, in turns of 10 secs each and they do wait for their turn. No real interaction yet.
Milo is very very cuddly, he likes to roll over & over on my lap its very sweet. I wonder if he has any ragdoll in him. as he seems very limp when you pick him up.
I think that when/if George wakes up, hopefully he should get on with Milo (He's been catching up on all his sleep, now he had a break from Milly pounces)
Milly watches Milo and follows him pouncing, like she does with George. And there has been a couple of Milly/Milo chases up and down stairs. Until one cat hisses. Is that playing ?
I haven't had multiple cats before, I just don't know what to expect. But the air feels clearer, less strained since Milo crossed the threshold.
George is happy he can get some sleep. Milly has hardly bothered George today. Just leaping up to sniff his ear every once in a while. She likes his ears for some reason and he just sits still and lets her. Maybe it's the cleaner, we use in his ears.
