Mating problem..or not? please help!

Ok, Rocky and Fluffy are trying to mate, but I won't let them....I don't if it is an ok deal or not..he is fixed, she isn't yet,,I have her scheduled next week to get spayed,,,I think someone on here said it was mating season but I am not sure if I read wrong...should I just let them do their thing or stop them? She gets in this position on her tummy lifting the hind legs up, and he lays on her..it is obvious what they are trying to do..Thanks in advance for any help!!

My two are both fixed and they go through the motions...now that it's spring, more so...I don't think Bodhi quite knows what he's doing and Maya keeps snoozing...;)
Your male is fixed so what's the harm.:D

Check with your vet - I've heard that you shouldn't spay a cat if she is in heat!

Regarding her and Rocky - that's pretty funny. I'm sure it will stop once she is fixed.

I've seen cats fixed when they're in heat. I've also seen cats fixed that were pregnant. They'll charge you more for cats who are pregnant or in heat, but that's about it. I've never heard of not spaying a cat cuz they're in heat.

She hasn't had a heat cycle yet but she is scheduled to get spayed this Monday...
