Just wanted to say that I lost Winston yesterday. The tumor in his throat was nearly blocking his trachea completely so I didn't really have a choice but have him put down. All three vets agreed it was the humane thing to do.
16 years has been wonderful to have him with me. I know he's with his big brother now, though, and that helps. He really missed him.
Thanks for your support when he was sick.

what an amazing 16 years you must have had with this special boy.
Try to feel comforted in the fact that he is pain free now, playing at the Rainbow Bridge like a puppy, with his brother.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
I am so sorry to hear about Winston.
You were truely blessed to have him
for 16 years. My thoughts and
heart are with you.

So sad to hear it, our thoughts and prayers are with you. There's nothing quite as sweet as those soulful beagley eyes, is there. You know he will live on forever in your heart, and in the stories you tell of him, too.
Take a nice, long nap, then have fun at the Rainbow Bridge, Winston.

So sorry to hear about Winston. You will miss him so much after 16 years. Sounds like you loved him very much and did the right thing.
Run and play free, and be a young pup again at the bridge Winston.

What a wonderful life Winston had! You must feel very priviledged to have had him so long and what memories you must have. Safe trip to the RB Winston. Give my love to Trixie and Toshie.

So sorry to hear Winston is gone to the Rainbow Bridge. I know how hard it is to "do the right thing" for a beloved pet. May happy memories of the 16 years he was your faithful companion bring you some comfort.

I'm so very sorry.:( :(:( What a most cherished, beautiful, life long friend Winston was. And how very blessed he was to know such love and devotion from his loving Mom. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences. I too, know the deep pain you are feeling. May your very special memories, those happy years spent with your best friend, give you some comfort during this saddest of times. One day, in the distant future, you and Winston will be together again. Hold onto that thought. Bless you dear Winston. Love, Sandra

Thank you again for all your messages. It means so much. I do believe I'll see my guys again. In the meantime, they're playing and having a good time where disease and age cannot reach them.
After 16 years, it feels like I can no longer see my own reflection, not being able to see him. He was so much a part of my life. I'm glad I work at home and have as much time with my guys as I do. It's priceless.
The important thing was that he didn't really suffer. That's a lot for those left behind.
Thanks again.
