thoughts and prayers coming from us to Karen and Sheba!!
Keep us updated!!!
Thank you Sandra and everyone.
Sandra,
My fault, I realized when I wrote you on Wednesday
I said Thursday, but I meant the next Thursday.
But even than I still screwed up because when I made
the appointment I looked at the wrong week,
in my calander, and made it for the 24th. (Just realized it last
night when I looked at my calander again.)
I can't believe I did that.:(
When the Vets office open's today, I am
going to try to move up her appointment
for next Friday. (My vet will not be back in
town till next Monday)
I am taking the dogs camping
tomarrow, If Friday
is not available, I will come back early from camping,
and make it for next Tuesday.
Thank you again Sandra and everyone
sorry for the confusion.

An extra week of "speedy recovery" prayers outta do the trick!! You can never have too many!!!! A soft kiss on Sheba's eye...and a {hug} to you, Kar....
I moved up her appointed for Tuesday,
since I do not have to be back at work till Thursday.
I'll let you know how her surgery goes by Wednesday. : )
Sheba is now home.
She looks and acts real good.
I wonder if they over-dose her on the anethsia,
when she had her lump on her tummy removed.
Big difference between this time and than.
She is wimpering a LOT.
She is very thirsty and I keep giving her little bit of water. She has stitches on her eye lid which will need to be removed in 14 days. I noticed a little pus comming out of her eye.
The vet said to watch for discharge or swelling.
She is real grouchy.
She keeps on growling at Rocky and Pepper.
She was protecting her empty water bowl. Poor thing. lol
In a couple of hours I will give her a little food.
It's good to have her home. :)

Forgive me for not welcoming you home sooner, sweet Sheba. I've been away from Pet Talk for a while after the death of my Squeeker. I was SO relieved to hear the surgery went well, but so sad to hear your hurting so Sheba:( I don't blame you for being so grouchy...But you're in the best of hands and I'll be sending prayers that you begin to feel lots better very soon, sweetie. I know you're Mommy is very relieved to have you home, safe and sound.:)
Thank you everyone for your good wishes.
Sandra, I am so sorry,
to learn about your sweet Squeeker
I am sending you lots and lots of good thoughts
and oodles of hugs.
Love Karen

I'm so glad Sheba is home and with you, Karen. That nasty anaesthia makes them real thirsty. Can you give the sweet pumpkin aspirin or a Rimydal for a day to relieve the discomfort???? Does Sheba have to wear a cone??? Please, please place a gentle, soft kiss on Sheba's forehead for me. I'm thinking of the both of you and sending {HUGS}...

I hope that your sweet Sheba is doing ok now. Give her a big kiss on her nose for me:D
Karen,
I am happy to report that this time around she is feeling
pretty good. (Nothing like the last time)
Once she got some food in her tummy
and water, she was no longer too grumpy, and
she stopped whimpering. Even her back legs
are not acting up to much.
I did not even have to give her any pain killers.
I sure love her, and she is acting her normal self
accept for her stitches and a bit of discharge.
Wear she got shaved, she now has a white
large fur patch around her eye. lol
She is not rubbing at her eye, so she did not need
to wear a nasty cone.
I am giving Sheba kisses for everyone, and
a extra one for you and Anna-66 too. :D
