Georgie has developed either a URI (upper respiratory infection) or allergies. His eyes are runny and he's sneezing alot. I started him on Clavamox and eye drops yesterday. I'm hoping the medicine will wipe it out of him before it spreads to my other kitties. No sense in separating him from everyone as they've all been exposed to it.:(
Everything else is normal, litterbox and eating wise. If the Clavamox doesn't work, I'm going to see if my vet will give me some Zythromax.

BTW Donna...(I may have missed this but) did your guys ever adjust to the drinking fountain? Is the still water gone or did it run too deep....;) :D

Poor little Georgie. It is probably a URI, that is not uncommon coming from a shelter. I believe the medicine will work, but it takes a little while. It kinda has to run its course, just like a cold that we ger. Hope you fell better real soon, George.

Oh Georgie......:( I hope the Clavamox does the trick and you're feeling better very soon, sweetie.

Edwina's Secretary,
They love the fountain! I take it apart once a week and clean it because it traps hair like you wouldn't believe!
Doogie (aka Georgie) is still sneezing. I switched his medicine from Clavamox to Orbax. I've been giving him eyedrops too. It's clearing up very slowly and none of my other cats have it.

Jen,
He's still sneezing on occasion. So is Moo. I'm beginning to think it's allergies. I have 2 months of pet insurance for adopting Doogie, so I might just take him to the vet if he isn't better. I'm thinking "Zythromax" will get rid of it. Unfortunately, it's $50 a bottle and has a shelf life of 10 days. But, if that's what it takes to make him well, so be it.

BTW, Doogie has this "refigerator" fettish. Whenever I open the fridge door, he climbs in.
Here's proof!

I sure hope Doogie is feeling better soon. $50.00 sounds like a lot of money, but like you say, if it does the trick, it's worth it.
That is a great pic of him in the fridge! :D :D Gives you something else to remember - open the refrigerator door, close the refrigerator door, oops, open refrigerator door to check for Doogie. ;) :D

Oh Doogie, don't you know it's cold in the fridge???? Not good for sneezing. Hope you are feeling better soon.
$50.00 is a bit steep but anything to make the furbabies better. When I took Max to the vet the other night I walked out 10 min later and $75.00 poorer. Yikes.

Jen,
I'm going to wait through the weekend. If he's not better, I'm taking him to the vet.
Doogie is such a goof! He LOVES the top of the fridge too! But the minute I open the door, in he goes! Gotta love him!!
