Can u remember all the cats in your lives and their names and what happened to them or are there too many to remember, i can so i shall bore u all with it. bear with me lol
There was susie , a black and white cat on the farm when i was a kid,she lived to a ripe old age, i also had sooti number one, my much longed for kitten, when the lady down the road, who i was very fond of as a kid died she left two kitties behind, as i child i prayed every night to get a kitten, and i finally did, sadly many weeks after we shifted he disappeared, then we had cindy, a tabby, into my teens.
Then came my own cats, kelly i adopted from spca, i shifted her from wellington to hamilton city about 5 o 6 hrs away, she stayed with me then my mum for ages then just left one day, she was my 2nd black cat.
Then along came tammy my black kitten, she was adorable, again she disappeared after coming back from the cattery, then after that its been a big gap of 18 years because of my allergy and my sons asthma, and then along came ash big old ash, number two sooti adopted originally from spca, and then his owner could not keep him as he was off to jail, hmm, so i took him and his little friend a beautiful kitten of 4mths, beautiful cameo colour, he was adopted by a young lady at my husbands work and is a real cuddly little man, and very pampered.
And now finally my lexie.
ok folks now tell my about as many as u can remember pm if u like i never tire of these stories.;) :) :D

My parents were given Lindy (Short for Belinda) as a wedding gift. So she was three years old when I was born. Lindy survived and played with me and my two younger siblings and the introduction of other family pets. (Several hamsters, fish, my beautiful Bonnie (Rabbit) and Lucky (G-Pig) and our family dog Amber.
Lindy was a calico cat and very pretty. She lived to be 16 years old but her kidneys failed and she had to be put to sleep.
Recently we have adopted George & Milly but there is alread enough stuff on this forumm about them !!

I had three so far.
I got my Aysche in the summer of 1984, a little Persian girl, when I was 18. The sad thing was that Aysche was infected with the FIP virus, and she died at the age of 1 year and 9 months... :( This is Aysche:

My next cat was my Katz, a tux girl. I've spent 14 long years of friendship with her until I had to let her go to the Rainbow Bridge. Her little heart has failed and she left me devastated:

After that loss, I decided that life's just too hard without another fur ball in it, so I got Luna! :) And Luna will probably have a little sister soon, Lily. :)

Growing up we had:
Blackie...a sleek black cat that disappeared.
MittensTigerPaws aka Kitty. A cat given to our family by a friend, named by the three of us kids and shortened to 'Kitty'.
After I married I went without a cat until we built our house 14 years ago.
Then we had:
Missy...disappeared before she was 4 months old, we think she was stolen.
Grace - RIP
Charity - RIP
Naomi - 12 years old
Ember - 5 years old
Mystery - 3 1/2 years old
Miss Indy - soon to be 1 year old
Asia - 10 weeks old this weekend! :)
Kirsten, your Aysche was gorgeous!!! What a furr!
I've had cats all the time as a kid, but I do not know how many exactly..! The sad thing is that I lost them ALL to the busy traffic in front of our house...:( :( :(
Since 2,5 years, we are having cats again.
My first, Sydney, died just before his second birthday, of a heart attack.

Oh I wish I was at my house so I could scan and post pic's of all my kittys.
The first cat I had was in grade school.. PUFF the magic kitty , 24 pounds, black and white. I moved to Seattle and he stayed with my parents untill old age over came him and they had to put him to sleep.
Salem, pure white, was my first cat in Seattle. She had kittens and they all died and so did she. Distemper. I was unaware of shots for cats.
Leroy Lamont, pure black. He lived to his mid 20's. He was my life, my best friend.
And now Kelcee, who I miss tons, while I'm here in Oregon.

I was a ripe old 35 before I got my first cat - what was I waiting for??? Now I can't imagine life without at least one!
Murf (1991-2002) My first best kitty friend. He was a fluffy orange and white Maine Coon mix. He taught me all I know about being owned by a kitty.
Squee (RB? 1994) Gray and sleek and sweet - but not very smart - he was only 9 months old when he disappeared. But before he went, he nursed me back to health from surgery and 3 months of recovery. He left the day the doctor said I was ok. Perhaps he moved on to nurse someone else that needed him?
Daisy (1994-2000) My sweet tuxedo girl - she was joy covered in fur!
Winston (1999- ) Gray tabby - Born blind, he has helped me learn patience and stillness! He is sweetness and gentleness in a fur coat.
Noodle (2002 - ) Tortie girl - she has a wild streak and has energy beyond belief!
That's my kitty life in a few sentences - I am so proud to have been their meowmee!

I have had 2 cats. I had muffin:
http://www.nebulaart.com/toby/muff.jpg who i only had for 2 years and we let her outside (a big mistake) she ended up getting an infection and tape worms .. .and my parents ended up putting her down. I still think they did it just cause they didn't want to pay for the treatment .. i was so mad when that happened .. :(
And of course i have Toby now. now ... for cat #3 .. :D

When I was growing up we had several cats. Smokey was the first cat and he was a very large gray tabby. He got hit by a car and was killed. The second cat was Puff. She had 2 litters of all orange kittens and died at around the age of 12 years or so. I was away at college and my mom didn't even tell me until much later because she said she didn't want to upset me. This made me more upset. Here's a picture of my Puff. Her best friend Lucky, the family dog, is on the right.

We then got a black female cat my brother named Charcoal. She had some behavioral problems and peed on the carpet too many times so my Mom said we had to take her back to the pet store. :( My Mom later brought home a grey and orange tortie looking kitten. We named her Mitzy. My brother was mean to her and she became a strange cat. I think he did something to her mind. :( Later on she became very withdrawn and depressed and my parents decided to have her put to sleep. The vet even asked if they were sure. Unfortunately I couldn't do anything to help her. :(
I became very lonely and missed having animals around me so I decided to get a cat. I went to the Humane Society and Storm picked me to be his owner. He's 7 now and a very happy, social, and healthy cat. He needed a friend so I adopted another male cat named Ceasar. He was older than Storm and orange and white. Unfortunately things didn't work out and I had to return him to the rescue place. I think he had to be an only cat.
I then adopted a 9 week old black male kitten named Pepper. He was a wonderful cat and Storm's best friend. :) He went to RB this past February. :( He was alomost 6 years old. I miss him so much.
I also adopted a 3rd cat named Sunny and he's my aby/tabby orange and white boy. He's quite a character and got along with both Storm and Pepper very well. He'll be 3 in late August.
On March 10th I adopted another cat named Cirrus. He's only 9 months old now but very large. Storm and Sunny get along with him fairly well but not as well as with Pepper. It will take some time but I'm sure they'll become great friends soon. He's been licking Sunny's head so it's only a matter of time. :) I sure hope that my current 3 cats will be able to live long happy and healthy lives. :D

My total: 4 present cats, 1 past cat, 2 foster cats, and 1 stray, I have only had 8 cats in my life.
I would not even guess the number my fiancee has had in her life. She used to foster cats before I came along. I would guess at least 100 cats.

My very first cat was a white and brown one named Lady. She was eaten by coyotes  :(
My second cat was an old dark grey cat named Roxy. She died of old age.
Then I got Sara, who I still have. :D
I then got Ditto, who never came home one day :(
Spud got partially run over with a car, my friend saw him, and she cried for hours because she knew the driver :( Her mom said that he just got up and ran away, no blood or anything. I searched for days but never found him :(

I have had a total of four cats. My first cat Candy ran away when she was about a year old. Never came back. My father thinks someone started feeding her at their house and she stayed with them. Our second cat was Sandy. We got Sandy when I was four years old. He died in 1996. We think he ate something. Now I have Hayley and Mandy bring the total to four.

Okay, let's see if I can name them all:
There was BooBoo...she was a stray kitty at my mom's apartment complex that we fed. I'm not sure what happened to her, I was very young at the time.
Then, Yoda (named for his huge ears), a yellow DSH, he is still alive and well at the age of 18! Also my mom's.
Then I got my Twinkle, my very own cat that I had to take care of myself. He was a Long Haired gray cat. I think he was a Maine Coon Mix. My dad got him from the Animal Shelter. He ended up having kidney problems at the age of 7 and we had to have him put to sleep...I was devestated!
Jasmine was a gray and white tiger striped kitty. She was a pregnant stray that my mom took in. She gave birth to 4 kittens: Willie, Sammy, Daisy and Callie. Jasmine got hit by a plow in the blizzard of '96.
Of those kittens, I got Callie. She was a short-haired calico. She lived to be only a year old. The vet never new what was wrong w/ her.
And then came Ali. Ali is very much alive and well at 10 years of age.
Sasha was a long-haired tuxedo female. She was one of five kittens born to a barn cat that belonged to someone my mom knew. Sasha was hit by a car about a year ago (this is why my kitties are strictly indoor cats!) and had internal injuries...she had to be put to sleep. She was one of my parents cats.
And Gabby. She got her name because she likes to talk. She is a short-haired tuxedo kitty. She was rescued by someone that I worked w/ that couldn't keep her. She came to them a scrawny 8 pounder w/ scratches all over her little face and now weighes in a wopping 20 pounds!
Shame on me! I almost forgot Jack (bad mommy!) Jack is a DSH...the vet thinks that he is part Siamese, but I also think that he has some Russian Blue in him too.
All of these kitties, although not all mine, hold/have held a very special place in my heart!

Growing up our first cat was Sable. He was 15 when he passed.
Next there was Nike and he was about 6 when he passed.
Now there is Reebok, Converse, Chance, Scooter, and Onneka.
Oldest to youngest respectively. Reebok and Converse are brothers from the same litter.
I moved into my own place and adopted Kia (my dog) and recently Zam, a calico cat.
I visit my parents (and cats ;) ) about once a week. :D
