who has read this novel? I have and it was good I thought, It kind of disturbed me though because he liked to kill the animals cuz he would pet them soo hard. poor things. Who eles has read this book?

I read it in secondary school and we also saw the film,

yes it was sad, I thought, I felt bad for the guy because he was kinda slow and a follower, he would kill like EVERY animal he petted. . I just finished reading it. You read it in Second grade?? omg, it has alot of swear words in it, how come you read it in Second gade?? :confused:

He didn't "like" to kill animals....he didn't understand you had to be gentle...he had no concept of this, just like a child.

I think he also would cry every time the animals died.. he wasn't some barbaric jerk who killed animals. He certainly did not "like" to kill animals, as you stated.

he was mentally slow, he felt so bad that he killed the animals and George would get mad and tell him he couldent tend the rabbits if he was bad. I know he was like a child. I really liked the book. I have read it all.
