What Is Your Favorite Horse Breeds?

My favorites are Arabian, Friesian, Falabella, Pinto/Paint, Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse. To name a few.

My favourites are arabians, quarter horses, thoroughbreds and appaloosas. If I could make my very own breed though, I would definatly mix together the first three I typed :D

I think that would be a great combo, even with the Appaloosa.

Dutch Warmblood, Saddlebred, Tennesee Walker, Hackney Horse, Apendix Quarter Horse, Quarter Horse, Belgian, Clydesdales, Shire, Arabian (hate riding them tho), Arab (smoothest riding horse I have ever ridden), Fresian, Percheron, Appaloosa,

The only pony breed I like is a Hackney Pony.

And, I LOVE draft mules and donkeys. I can't wait to go to the Missouri Mule and Donkey Festival again this year!!!

My favorite color is Paint Tobiano, Tovero, and Overo. I also love blood bays and chesnuts.

I think my favorite crosses would be Arab/Quarter Horse, Appaloosa/Arab, Arab/Paint, and Pinto/Arab.

i don't know much about horses:( ; but I do love them! My sister has 4 horses( one drowned last year:( :( ) . One of those is a lovely Arabian. The one I love the most, is grey-white. I don't know the English name for it; in Dutch, it is called a "schimmel".:D

Isn't that a color in Dutch? I took 5 years of German in school, it is similar to Dutch. Isn't that basically like you said, grey/white?

YLL, are you saying the Arabian and Arab are two different breeds, or that they have two qualities, one you don't like, one you do? What is it you don't like about them? They are my FAVORITES!:D My specialty!

Other breeds would be Morgans, Morabs, and QH. Andalusians, Fresians, Percherons are my favorite larger breeds. But then again, I LOVE ALL horses. Guess that's why I became a behaviorist!:cool:

I agree with Equinebehaviorist, I thought that 'schimmel' was a color. I also thought that Arab was a shortened name for Arabian. But I wasn't sure.

I love Arabs!I thought Arabs and Arabians were the same.I also really love Appaloosas.I love all breeds though.
