Shasta, the Doberman Pincher who was a victim of breed profiling at the apartment where I live is doing GREAT! She ended up falling ill shortly after I had to bring her here. The vet did some urine and blood work on her and said that something was up, but we couldn't be sure just yet. Well, about a week later, she had puss pouring out of her birth canal! Rushed her into the vet again, and decided that she had a severe uterine infection and she had to be spayed immediately. So, in she went the next am, and now she is here resting and healing comfortably. The best part is, the Landlord devised a way for us to keep her! Since we are only going to be here for a few more months, he said that he would work with us to make sure I could keep her, since she has been such a lady so far! Only problem, she likes to sleep on the couch and if we forget to block it before we go to bed or leave the house, she digs at it to "fluff" it. Well, needless to say, we need a new futon cover now. Hubby ain't too happy about that, but I don't care, my buddy is staying home!:D

Thank you for all your concerns, support and prayers. I know God heard everyone one of you. Bless you all.

Well, today was the first day I let her out and about to play at the farm with me, the kids, horses and Ashely. She loved it. She is sleeping like a rock tonight on her bed, hasn't gotten up once since we got home, except to scarf down dinner (should have named her Mrs. Hoover). I forgot the camera, but on Sunday I will take her out again and will get some new pics of everyone to share. Then you can see a day light full body shot of her. She is so pretty, even with, especially with, those floppy ears!

:D
