hey,

i heard somewhere that there is a pill for dogs to help with their moods is that true?if soo is there a website i can read up on let alone prove to my dad that there is hhope on keeping scarlett.:( i hope:(

those that don't know i have a problem with my toy poodle.she saw me have a seizure and now she's gotten really aggrressive towards me and now my parents.we live in a small town and don't have an obedient school:rolleyes:we should though thats crazy not to have one.anyway if scarlett doesn't start behaving better my dad said that he will get rid of her:(please if you know of any web site that has this info link it.the person that told me this said that her vet would know about it,well this person doesn't know my parents.

see my dad is the type of person that needs to see proof before calling the vet,and my mom well she leaves him incharge of pet care, and me saying call the vet means nothing (because of my epilepsy)i take meds so he figures its the meds (its always been like that)plus i'm the baby in the family and that doesn't help much either even though i'm 22 almosst 23 i'm just a joke:rolleyes: anyway all in puts are welcome and very appreciated:)thanks and take care:)

Check this reference site:

The Merck Veterinary Manual (http://www.merckvetmanual.com/mvm/index.jsp)

I just did a search for mood and it gave lots on info about medications for mood control.

You really should talk to your vet about this, since they would have a better idea on what your dog can take and what they can't.

Where do you live?

I could try to help you with Scarlett if I know where you are. You can PM me if you don't want to post it.

I know there is something that dogs can take for anxiety, Abbey has to take it when we go in the car, because she hates it so much. Maybe that's all Scarlett needs is a relaxer, because she is nervous around you.
I hope you can find some help.

I haven't explored this site very much yet but if you follow this ]link (http://www.ivillage.com/pets) you can scroll down about 1/2 way and there is an ask the experts link on the left side of the page. You probably have to join the community to use the features but, it gives you several veterinarians and other specialists to ask your questions to. Hopefully the link will work I think my computer needs obedience training sometimes.
I hope this will help you out a little and keep trying to find info. I know that there are virtual vets and other resources elsewhere on the web too.
