Thanks for making me smile this morning! I'm so happy your human came to the SPCA that day and found you. I only wish that all animals would be given the same opportunity. It is so sad that the majority of people view animals as disposable in the first place. You can't help it that somebody didn't care enough to not "fix" your parents....regardless, you have brought so much joy to your family that it just goes to show ALL animals deserve a second chance. I know you'll be loved until your last days on earth!

I am absolutely sure Reuben is real, or he would not have been chosen Dog of the Day. His body and head DO match in fur color and texture, the light is hitting his body differently than his face, that's all. That is consistent, because his body is sideways and his head is facing front.

I think Reuben is beautiful and special, as are all pets. Please, Reuben's folks, don't take offense at people not thinking he's real, okay?
