No, he's not mine but I basically saved his life. It was years ago when i was at my uncles old house playing outside with cousins. We heard a little meowing in the prickley grape fruit tree. We looked around in it and saw a little, dirty, skinny enough to see his rips, scared kitten. Gray and white with a little fluffy tail. He would not come and only went farther in the tree when we reached for him. I told my cousins to go inside and i went near the house, on my hands and knees and meowed to him. I didn't know what i was saying in "cat language":p but it worked. He came right up to me, purring and rubbing against me. He was sooooo skinny you could feel through him if you felt infront of his hind legs. We bathed him, fed him and kept him overnight making sure he'd be allright. The next day we went and asked if anyone had lost a kitten, no one claimed it to be theirs. My aunt came to pick us all up and bring us home and we *begged*for her to keep him. She kept him and now today he's a beautiful Cat named Nitno.

Here are his photos I took today when we went to show of my new pup, Nala:

So that's where Edwina's long lost twin has been all these years!! Although allowing a DOG --- even one as ADORABLE as Nala so close????

I was thinking the same thing. :D There's just something about the way she looks at you.....

And Nitno is adorable! And Nala too! Nitno must be familiar with dogs to let one even get that close, and he only looks mildly irritated - much unlike his long lost twin, Edwina, looks when dogs are near. ;) :D

Wow - I can't believe how similar their markings are! I'm so glad Nitno found a loving forever home. Where does the name "Nitno" come from? Does it have a special meaning or anything? Cute!

Thanks everyone!

They do look alot alike.

Nitno lives with a maltese, lab/pit mix, and a new addition a 10 week old chow mix pup. He's been around dogs forever and there's tons of neighbor dogs.

His origional name was Nickle but my little cousin, who was younger at the time, had a hard time saying Nickle and said it "nitno"... So we just call him Nitno. :)

I also noticed that Nitno looked like a cousin of Edwina's, isn't it cute that his nose splotch goes off of the opposite side of the one on Edwina's face. :)
That last picture of Nala hugging him is too cute! Edwina would NEVER put up with a dog doing that to her!:D
