I am wondering why Toby wasn't adopted with his brother as well. It seems a shame the two brothers were separated after being so attached to each other after a rough beginning in life. He is definitely adorable and most deserving of COTD.

Hi, Redkittycat, welcome to Pet Talk. I agree, it would have been lovely to have the two brothers together, but sometimes circumstances don't allow it, I spose. My husband, for example, didn't think it was possible to have more than one cat at a time--silly man! Now we have four. See, you CAN teach an old husband new tricks! Hope you have lots of fun with this forum!

Your family is lovely. Are they related to each other at all? Their coats are so beautiful. Do you give them baths?

Thank you for your compliments on my bubelas. No, they are not related--they were all adoptions from different rescue societies: Humane Society, Purrs and Paws (feral rescue), Last Hope, and the last boy, Mau, came to me as a foster (hah)last August. I don't bathe them, although Mau does have some dandruff from a bad diet. I've got him addicted to grooming now and I'm hoping better food improves his coat. They are my darlings!
