Here's my little cutie :

http://www.nebulaart.com/misc/toby.jpg

we got him in December 2002, about 8 weeks old at the time.

AND he also sleeps on my head as well!

Its hilarious! He's been doing it since I got him, he sneaks in the room as soon as i get to bed then i notice him eyeing the pillow..next thing I know I'm fighting with him for pillow room :D He's sooo loveable...he jumps in my lap all the time and gets all mushy, rubbing against my face hehe. I also taught him to sit and give his paw before each treat. does it like a charm :)

well here's one more pic of me and him

Better save that loving picture...he's going to be ripping it apart in a couple weeks when its neuturing time

 don't think he'll appreciate me much then haha

:)

I lose the pillow fight very often. hes just sitting there soo cute and purring..i just can't bear to move him. so most times I end up with my head on the edge of the pillow. :D

awww he looks sooo much like my mozart did when i brought him home. Mozart knew from the get go though - if youre going for the pillow, why not stretch out for the whole bed too? :D

Thanks guys :) And he is a little sweetie I guarentee you :D

I've been looking around the forums at other ppls cats too ... soo adorable..I would have them all if I could! I'd like to get a new cat, a friend for Toby ... say he is around a year old when I get him, should I get a new kitten, or a cat the same age as him..?

I just recently adopted a little kitten for Hayley because I thought she could use a friend. It was the best thing I did! They get along great. Hayley even washes little Mandy (She is only 6 weeks old, Hayley is 5 months old).

;) thanks again guys! And lut , you got it right, "Such a sweet naughty face" boy does he ever get naughty! We got him out of his clawing habit now he bites instead!

But I think once we move into our new house we are going to get a new playmate for Toby :) My fiance doesn't exactly love cats as much as I do (or he THINKS he don't ;) ).... but we had a compromise to wait til we moved out of our current place. I'm really looking forward to it!

A quick question - would a male cat get along better with another male .. or a female? Or does it even make a difference?

My husband said he didn't like cats that much either. Now is a different story! I can really tell he absolutely LOVES cats. I can tell he is trying to get Mandy to bond with him more than me because Hayley is definetly a mommy's girl!

I am so happy you have decided that when you move into your house you are going to get a new cat for Toby. When will that be?

yah I KNOW he absolutely loves Toby .. they are so cute together :) He'll go lie down and watch tv with Toby stretched over him .. its adorable :D

I think we are going to start looking for a new place next month :) So hopefully by May we will have our new house

I have 2 boys and they get along very well (though they do their amount of fighting -just like skinboys do- when they are bored;) ).
Two cats is not more work and much more fun. And they do not need to prove all their tyrannic skills with you:D

Awww....he's so cute! i'd love it if my cats were trained to sit and give their paw when its treat time!

ScantyNebula
03-12-2003, 10:44 AM
try it. its really easy. I started one day ...I'd say sit .. and push his back down until he sat. then "paw" and I'd take one paw. After a few days he started getting the idea. now as soon as he sees a treat on the way, he's already sat down with his paw in the air. ITs adorable :)

Welcome to PT! Hope you enjoy your stay!

Ahhh, your from Newfoundland! How's the winter treating you? This has been the coldest winter that Toronto has seen in the last 7 years!! I cannot wait for summer.

Toby is adorable!! Very smoochable! I have one cat named Nakita who is 9 months old. I have also been thinking of getting a second cat to keep her entertained.

I just have to convince my partner that 2 cats are better than 1!

:D
