What kind of food are you feeding her? Yorkies can have very easily upset tummies. My Molly has a lot of trouble with people food.
For the most part she does eat dry food, but when she gets an upet tummy, I give her canned food (she's the only one who gets it). As soon as her tummy is better, she goes back to dry food.
That happened with Kai when we brought him home. At first I think it was because he was scared when we brought him home...but later on, I noticed that he wouldn't eat on his own. So I ended up feeding it by hand. I tried giving him some kibbles and bits later on..and he ate it gradually. Try Semi-Moist foods...or even canned foods. Kai is REALLY picky..I'm sure your dog will like the wetter foods. We actually just tried out this food where you add just a bit of hot water and it turns to gravy..he just LOVES IT!

It might be the dog food she does not like but most likely it is because she trained you what to feed her. A strictly people food diet (unless researched and done properly) can be very un- nutritious & very un healthy for her. I suggest you look into natural meals for dogs (like the B.A.R.F diet) & switch her to that or make her eat dog food. Get a really good dog food (inova, nutro, canidea etc..) and feed only that or try adding bologna & steak to it & gradually add less & less people food to her dog food. If a dog is completely healthy & drinks regularly it can easily live 3-7 days with no food. I know it is very hard to look at those sad eyes but be firm & do not give in. Talk with your vet or a trainer/behavorist about this. Feeding only bologna & steak is not the proper nutrients that a dog needs to live healthy. It can cause many health problems. At least look into a supplement to add and maybe hard bones to help the teeth a little. Good luck.

Some dogs don'y like some dog foods. Why don't you try giving you dog a different king of dog food.
