New mom cat and her 1st litter

Tonight a woman surrendered her still lactating mom (whose newest babies just left 2 days ago) and her older 2 kittens of about 4-6 months of age. Both of which happen to be unspayed females as well!!! Such a shame! But the woman was nearly in tears when she left my home... she says she just can't afford them! She left all of their belongings with me as well .... litterbox, 2 mini condos, a pet carrier, and a new bag of food. I felt so sorry for this woman, but assured her that they would get loving, safe, homes!

The mom looks like a Russian Blue, one of the kittens looks just like her except she has some spotting as well... very cute! The other is a gorgeous Calico, with a beautiful bushy tail. These are my first pics of them, and not great quality, but tomorrow I will be taking many more! ANY TAKERS????

Kim; the blue kitty appears to be a Chartreaux. those furkids appear to be well taken care of. Is it any wonder that she left nearly in tears. I'll bet you that within a year, that she will have a few new kitties.:)

A very dear friend of mine adopted the Calico!!!! She is sooo thrilled with her... she's already sent me 3 emails telling me all about their first full day together!!! My friend is a wonderful lady, and takes excellent care of her babies!!! A match made in kitty heaven!!!:D

That's wonderful news!!! Not only does kitty get a wonderful home, you get to keep in touch with her and watch how their relationship progresses.

I have to say the one with the orange spotting steals my heart - she looks just like Bassett!!! Oh if only I had my own house and wasn't renting.. I would for sure take in more!
