Oh, this is so exciting! Good luck with convincing your parents Jessica...Show 'em your stuff! Impress them with your initiative and responsible attitude to pet ownership with examples -("Observe exhibit 'A', Jordan, displaying impeccable manners and a winning smile! And here is Exhibit 'B'! Take note of Tiki's charming and friendly manner....." :D)

Coincidentally, I'm getting a little tiel buddy for my Lachie next weekend (for my birthday...sweet sixteen :D ), so our two new arrivals can be baby buddies! I'm not sure what colour I'm getting yet though...maybe a recessive silver, or a lutino (Popcorn is soooo sweet, Popcornbird!). I'm going to meet them next Friday.

All this talk about how wonderful 'Tiels are....and my store doesn't carry them! :(
Parents can be tough. When I was a kid we had TONS of pets. Now my parents worry because they don't want to go back to having that zoo.... My dad uses the excuse of allergies, but the ratties I snuck into my room don't seem ot bother him at all! Go figure.
On a random note; I found out recently that my mom really DOES like my lizard, she is just deathly afraid of getting reptile related Salmonellosis. She told me Alielle was cute!! *giggles*
