Bassett Update

Hi all,

Since Bassett is no longer in the hospital, I thought I would start a new thread. She is home from her check up, and is doing well. The vet decided to do an x-ray, and thought it would be a good idea to remove the fluid that was there. I don't know how much was there, because my vet wasn't there when I went to pick her up, so I will talk to her tomorrow on the phone.

Right now, Bassett is home and giving me attitude... she didn't think she needed to go to the vet today, so she was doing a lot of hissing.. that's my Bassett!!!! :D I will watch carefully overnight and monitor her breathing and everything. For right now, things look positive.

Thanks for all the prayers and love. It's appreciated, and it's working!

Bassett continiues to do well. She has spent most of her waking moments cleaning herself - smelling like vet just WON'T do!!

Thank you for all the continiued thoughts and prayers. Bassett's health has benefited from them all. :)

It feels so good to read some good news on PT too . I am still so overwhelmed by the deaths of Gabe & Graemer ... .
