"Digging"

Before Olivia takes a nap, she has to get comfy....so, she diggs wherever she wants to lay down. Isn't that too funny?? :)

Peanut does that too, especially when she's on the bed. Her usual procedure in her new favorite place - her little faux sheepskin "carpet condom" - is to dig a bit, then bake bread with the cushy side of it for about a minute or so, then curl up into a tortellini and go to sleep. I think it would be impossible for her to sleep unless she went through this routine. ;) :D

Gee, I thought Speckles was the only one!!

She likes to occasionally get underneath the comforter and go to sleep and the first time I saw her digging it was the same motion as she does in the litter box and I was so afraid she was going to pee...but instead dug around a bit then laid down and slept. Too funny!!:D

lol actully sounds like my dog! he will dig at the blankets, circle, then plop down on his back.

Yep, my kitty will do that too, when he's getting comfy on my legs - he tries to "soften them up" by digging on them. It tickles really bad! (He's declawed in front - done before we knew of the evils of declawing......:( )

Hi there.. i'm new so just catching up on all the posts :)

Out of my 3.. Mozart is the one that digs and goes in circles. It's a recent addition to his antics... Like some of you, the first time he did it I thought "oh no, he's mad at me about something and is gonna pee right there on my bed!" :eek:

But I was soo relieved when he just plopped down and went to sleep! :D
