Prinny has a red spot on her back where her tail curls up and sits...she has been biteing on it and now is red a bleeding just a bit....is this a hotspot?what should i put on it to stop the itching?

you can try this it might help but it won't hurt I have been using this on my dogs fo over 20 years i use it for hot spots and it will also help mange. get flowers of sulfur from the drug store and mix in a glass jar a table spoon of sulfur to a tablespoon of criscoe grease, mix well and apply to the affected area 2 x a day. it may be licked off but thats ok. It won't hurt your loved one.:)
becareful if it's an open wound to keep it clean as to not cause a more severe infection.

You can buy hot spot relief spray from most pet stores, but, if it's already an open wound, I personally, would go to my vet first.

I am not sure if it is a hotspot or not. But my suggestion is to take Prinny to the vet. Your vet will be able to tell you what it is and how to treat it!

Prinny has heart worms and is Alergic to fleas......we r takin Chewy to the vet to get ger tested for h-worms....
