Cookie recipes??

Well, every year my mom and I make heart shaped sugar cookies for Valentine's day. Yesterday, we were going to make them...but the book with the best recipe is gone! We found a bunch of others...but the one we tried...the dough tasted great, but when we cooked them, they did not hold their shape! We just got a big old cookie blob instead!

Now we've tried several recipes and well, not many are good, lol. I like the ones that are really soft...I know some recipes even call for sour cream.

Does anyone have a favorite sugar cookie recipe they could share? One they've made before?

Hey, this thread is for other cookie recipes too..'cause hey, who doesn't like cookies? I love making them! I'll be posting some of my favorite recipes later! :D

I have to admit, I've not tried any of these, but they're rated. And they're Valentine cookies! ;) So take a look and see if there's any to your liking! :)

One suggestion though - if you bake cookies and are using vanilla, get the real one, it's so much better! ;)
