I know that there is a member here who is involved in rescue in Miami...Might anyone know someone that can help???
Dear Best Friends Network Member:
Anneke, in Miami, FL, contacted us seeking help for a special needs dog.
"Beckett" is a 4 or 5 year old male, German Shepherd mix. He is very shy,
very scared, and has been very depressed since his owner passed away
suddenly last October 28th. Ever since that day, Beckett has been hiding
out in a little dog house, and will only come out when he is sure that he is
alone.
Beckett was used to living in a household with many, many other dogs and he
got along with them well.
Beckett needs a good home, and someone who can offer lots and lots of love
to him. He needs someone who will at first give him the space that he
needs, but who at the same time will have the patience to work with him, and
help him overcome his fear and depression.
If you, or someone you know, can offer to foster Beckett and/or help in
finding him a permanent home, please contact Anneke directly at
[email protected]. As well, if you have any questions about Beckett,
please contact Anneke directly. Please let others who may be interested in
helping know about this special needs dog.
Thank you for being part of the Best Friends Network, and for any help you
can offer.
Sincerely,
